The Total War Saga: Troy - Amazons DLC introduces the faction with the same name to the grand strategy title 'The Amazons'. Comprised entirely of warrior women, it fights to defend Troy while giving players a choice between two leaders with different play styles.

Choosing to play as warrior queen Penthesilea will put you at the helm of a Horde army which you can use to conquer settlements that grant you War Spoils, and this will boost your campaign.

Hippolyta, the warrior queen's sister, relies on capturing sacred regions that reward her with Amazon Treasures. You'll be able to rank up your units, work towards improving diplomacy with other factions, and complete Royal Decrees.

The Amazons also have access to mobile cavalry units and can use Blood Oaths to summon powerful Bloodsworn units.
