    I talked to him in private and here is what I said:
    Hi, sorry for the delay, I have been asleep for a while and just woke up. I haven't attempted a recover, I can only think of 3 possibilities:
    1) The account could have been banned because I am guessing you are in the USA and I am currently in Asia, so they probably picked up on the IP change and could have banned the account
    2) They may have locked the account because of the IP change and they thought I got #
    3) Try to reset the password, we had the same issue when I was transferring the account over, maybe it happened again, idk

    I think it's either 1 or 2 and 3 is unlikely, but check your email to see if there is a ban or locked notification, if there is none then try to reset the password. Most importantly you need to be patient if there is no email, because jagex emails can take a while sometimes. I am not seeing any xp gains on any of the xp tracking sites so I am going to put it bluntly, I think the account is most likely banned and in the best case scenario just locked. I have got no email about a ban or locked account yet, so I will have an eye on my emails to see if there is any changes. I will be offline for the next 8 hours or so, so I can give you an update if anything changes then.

    I haven't attempted an account recall, and if you check any xp logging sites you see no activity in the past day, I have recieved a email about the ban here, as I was the original owner and they picked up on the account sharing:


    If the account was recalled it would only have been normal to notify the user that a request for an email change would have been sent, which was also sent to me when I gave the account.

    The double listing was a mistake and I cancelled it right away, and you can confirm with a middleman that I have recieved no other orders, the only one I have ever recieved beside you was another guy for the same account, which I made a request to cancel.

    I don't know what the rules are if the account gets banned in the transaction, but that is the case here.

    The middleman can probably confirm that I have opened multiple tickets to try and get the payment because of a delay because I needed to pay way overdue bills now, if I recalled the account before I even got payed that would make no sense at all.

    I have no clue why, I am not runescape staff and nobody knows how their algorithms work to detect stuff. My only guess as to why it was sent to me and not to you is because I am the original owner and the one who sold the account. I am struggling to give a reason why because I have no clue, this is my first time selling and I am not a Jagex staff. I am currently asking a jagex staff for more info on the ban through social media, but they haven't responded yet.

    That sucks honestly, I traded with another UK person and this ban didn't occur. Its unfortunate though

    I am still Jagex for more details, if possible lets try to get a hold on a moderator who will actually respond, because idk the policy on this if the account is banned in transaction. I am pretty sure they will give you a refund but idk.

    So they probably saw an IP change there, they could also flag a MAC address change since I only really played runescape on my current laptop.

    Honestly you should get the money, I'm the one who had it banned. I have no problem with that. It just sucks it was a good account

    I tried to not use the account then login with a UK VPN before the transaction, but maybe the IP change was too quick.

    Or it could have been the MAC address change as well, I am really sorry that I can't give you a proper reason, I can't just asked them how they flagged the account because they have to keep that a secret to catch account trades and stuff.
