Answering your question, how do you know if you were scammed or not? Answer is you were scammed. It's a common scam that people try to portray themselves as PlayerUp by e-mail or Kik. We can't stop it. We do our best to warn people posting in multiple sections of the site but if people don't read it then there isn't anything we can do to protect you.
