Exploiting Reporting OffSite Scammer - Cesar Augusto Olmos AKA Traffic Miner - 573103045970

The Buyer bought 2 orders of Premium Accounts from us via PayPal. Upon his first purchase, we received a warning email from PayPal that the account was not verified and hence could be suspicious. It was advised by PayPal team itself to not deliver the products until the payment is cleared. We informed the Buyer about the issue and asked him to confirm the payment from his end. He claimed that he did and sent us a screenshot, but the confirmation button was still available (which meant the payment was still not verified from his end). For the benefit of the doubt, we delivered his first order as he was a first-time buyer. He never verified the payment and purchased a second-order while the first payment was still on hold.

We partially delivered the second-order but then firmly asked him to either wait for the payment to be cleared or confirm it from his end because we couldn't risk the transaction failing. He tried to lie to us another time by sending a screenshot of the payment page and claimed that is was confirmed, upon which we pointed out that it was not as the confirmation button was still active. Soon afterwards the Buyer blocked our Whatsapp number and stopped responding to other modes as well. We even tried contacting him using other Whatsapp number, but he blocked that too.

We are retrieving back all the account delivered to him and ensure that he does not gain from this scam. But as a responsible Seller, it is our duty to inform other fellow Sellers on PlayerUp to be aware of this user because this is not just about not getting paid for your delivered product but also about RISKING YOUR PAYMENT METHOD (such as PayPal) for unethical disputes and chargeback. Scammers like him should be banned from PlayerUp and every other platform to save the Sellers from wasting their time, money and resources and also to maintain the marketplace's reputation.
