Hey guys, First and foremost I would like to thank all of you that I have chatted with for the last few days. Ya'll have been extremely helpful and professional and I really appreciate the skill sets and knowledge that many of you have brought to the table. I have a court case coming up. I moved back to my home town after living with my sister in another state and working a decent job. I came back for a custody battle and am trying to see my daughter, who is now 1, and I have yet to meet her. The custody battle shouldn't be that bad. However, back when my ex told me to get last and that she was keeping the kiddo to herself, she sent me alot of mean and nasty email specifically saying that she was going to block me out of the child's life, keep me off the birth certificate and that she was going to try and delay me seeing our child for as long as possible. These emails were sent to me on my main personal gmail account. At the time they were so hurtful I deleted the emails, which then get put into the trash folder for 30 days before being permanently deleted. I have tried searching for them, but they no longer exist. I was wondering if anyone knew of anyways to recover these emails? And if so, I'd be happy to pay to have them recovered. I know what email they were sent from if that helps... Otherwise I am going to send off two of my phones that I received the emails on as well as some mean text messages to a forensic hard drive examination company to have the hard drives analyzed and have them recovered that way. This is obviously going to cost thousands of dollars. The only other option is to try and get into the exes account and see if they are still on her gmail server, but I don't really know how I feel about this considering I don't want to put myself or anyone at risk. Also if the court found out I was trying to # something of my exes then it definitely wouldn't play out in my favor with the court and I would get slapped with some charges that I certainly do not want. Also I have access to this gmail account. It's the one I use everyday. I have my password and everything, just to clear up some confusion.
