With this type of service, both the buyer and the seller are to blame here equally as this is just really risky. In my honest opinion, only the seller wins with this service as they buy packs cheaper than the regular price while still earning enough. The game loses money and the buyer's account will be at risk even if the deal went well which in this case is what happened. Nothing against the sellers who do this, just my thoughts on this type of service.

I am a neutral party here and I was just stating the facts here. I don't really need to ask why sellers ask how they want to get paid specifically with PayPal as it could be either of these two, which there would be no way for me to know exactly which one are they; 1. to prevent chargeback after they scam their victims 2. they want protections from scammers who do chargebacks

The mistake that the seller did here is they did not mention about the method they are using for this service. I don't even see it in your thread describing your methods as well. The buyers mistake here, in general, when you buy in-game currencies from outside source other than the in-game shop you should all be aware of the risks that are involved when you decided to continue with your purchases.
